2015 REGATTA WEEKEND WINNERS
Andrew Cooke and Billy Fink and their boat the Whirlwind won the Island Packet Trophy! Cooke and Fink were the best racers for the two sailing races this past weekend.
Regatta Weekend, presented by Harbour Town at the Sea Pines Resort and run by The Yacht Club of Hilton Head Island for the past 40 years, presented awards at a ceremony under the Liberty Oak in Harbour Town, the birthplace of the oldest sailing club on the Island.

CALIBOGUE CUP WINNERS
Class A – Spinnaker
First Place – Andrew Cooke on Whirlwind.
Second Place – Amar Patel on Lady in Red.
Class B – Non-Spinnaker
First Place William Lawrenson on Serenity.
Second Place – Ed Lyons on Potcake

HARBOUR TOWN CUP WINNERS
Class A – Spinnaker
First Place – Andrew Cooke on Whirlwind
Second Place – Mark Newman on Vortex
Class B – Non-Spinnaker

The Island Packet Trophy, awarded to the fastest boat in corrected time over the two days of the events, was won by Andrew Cooke and Billy Fink in Whirlwind.

Randy Brooks and his Alerion 38, Bliss, won the Non-Spinnaker class and the big trophies at this past weekend’s regatta double header. Regatta Weekend was presented by Harbour Town at the Sea Pines Resort and run by The Yacht Club of Hilton Head Island for the past 40 years. The awards ceremony was under the Liberty Oak in Harbour Town, the birthplace of YCHH, the oldest sailing club on the Island.

The Spinnaker Class was won on Saturday by Domenico de Sole in Slingshot, a Harbor 20 out of the South Carolina Yacht Club. Amar Patel and Paul Reddick, in Lady in Red, a Tillotson J22, won this series on Sunday. Lady in Red sails out of The Landings Harbor and Chatham Sailing Club in Savannah.

A third class, Flying Scots, participated in the series for the first time. Winning first place was Henry Schultz and Hap Todd in Ta Ta for Now on both days. Ta Ta for Now is sailed out of The Yacht Club of Hilton Head Island.

The Island Packet Trophy, awarded to the fastest boat in corrected time over the two days of the events, was won by Randy Brooks in Bliss.
