Every year in April, the Yacht Club holds an “Outdoor Cleanup Day” from 10 am to 1 pm, during which we undo the wear and tear of the past year and especially the past winter. This year’s date is Saturday, April 11. Volunteers will concentrate on our exterior windows and doors, our deck furniture and covers, our grounds, including shrubs, plants and planters, and the storage areas under the building. Depending on your interests, bring your sponges, squeegees, cleaning solutions, buckets, scrub brushes, rakes, shovels, gardening trimmers, trowels, etc. Gloves, safety glasses (and “bump caps” for those going under the building) are highly recommended.
