EVENT DETAILS:
Hi Y'all,
As we head our way to the last few events of our boating season, we've scheduled something we haven't done for years.
On Thursday, October 22 each of us is going to pack a picnic lunch (or buy one from Publix!), grab a camp chair and meet me in Skull Creek Marina to board one of Freedom Boat Club's finest pontoon boats. Then we'll wend our way up the May River to the Redneck Riviera (a mid-river sand bar just east of Palmetto Bluff) where we'll kick off our sandals, wiggle our toes in the sand, enjoy a beer or other beverage to wash down the lunch we've packed and just chat, throw frisbees or whatever else we want to do to kill a couple of hours with our Yacht Club friends.
No expensive gas bills (only $5 each), no restaurants, no hassle. Just a relaxing time with great folks: US! We'll embark at 10:00 and be home by 2:30

NOTE: We only have one boat. So, the limit is the first 10 who register.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
We will be taking a pontoon boat which has two “doors”, side and bow. So, it’s easy on and off at the marina through the side door. When we arrive at the Riviera, however, I will beach the boat “bow first”, allowing us to “easy off/on” through the front door in the bow. You’ll get your feet wet but not much more.
